I believe that photographs are some of the most precious keepsakes. They are memories we can hold onto and share forever, and that is priceless. One of my favorite quotes is: “If you don’t think photographs are important, wait until they’re all you have left.” Sadly, I think about this almost daily. After losing my dad almost 7 years ago, there isn't anything I wouldn't do to go back in time and take more pictures of him + with him. It has definitely changed the way I see my job and the way I look at photos. Having those beautiful, intimate moments between loved ones captured forever is an investment that will go on even beyond our lifetime.

How does the process work?

This is the boring, but necessary part-- let's get it over with quickly so we can move on
to the fun stuff!
This is where I can really get to know you. The reason I include a complimentary engagement session with all of my wedding packages is because I believe this time is super valuable. It helps me get to know you more as a couple-- the way you interact, how patient you are in front of the camera (some people just aren't a fan and that's ok!), your style, etc. And you can get to know the way I work behind the camera! All of these things, while not necessary, DO help calm everyone's nerves even just a little bit and it helps to feel like I am not a complete stranger hanging around you and your loved ones ALL DAY long ;).
This is sometimes sent over by your wedding planner (if you have one). However, we may need to make changes, so I like to make my own for you and compare to make sure the day flows well for everyone and allows enough time for everything you need on my end.
This is where you let it all go. It's finally time to do the dang thing. This is the time to trust the professionals you've hired and just ENJOY YOUR DAY! It's going to go by in the blink of an eye-- so, take a deep breath, hold your partner's hand, and immerse yourself fully in the beauty of the day.
This isn't where we part ways forever! After you receive your final wedding gallery, it isn't goodbye! I love building relationships with my clients and by the end of your wedding day, I like to think of us as pretty good friends ;). If starting a family is in the cards for you, I would love to stick around and capture all of those big moments to come! And if not, I'll stick around anyways-- there are many other memories to be captured and it would be my honor to be your gal!
